A METAR, or Meteorological Aerodrome Report, is an hourly report that provides information about the current weather at a specific location.
Each METAR will include:
- Station Identifier
- Day and Time of observation
- Wind conditions
- Visibility (in statute miles)
- Weather Phenomena (if any present)
- Sky conditions
- Temperature/Dew Point
- Altimeter setting
- Remarks (as needed)
