Microbit Thermometer with Maximum Temperature Project Second mini video in this microbit topic. In this video we will make a digital thermometer with our microbit showing the current temperature along with a maximum temperature feature. The microbit has a built in temperature sensor. This is located within the processor core. It is measuring the surface temperature of the processor, if the processor is not heavily loaded then the measurement will be around that of ambient. Accuracy will be loose as the data sheet gives a +/-4'c range. We found our micro:bit was reading around 2'c higher than a room temperature sensor we compared it with. In the next video we will develop the code in this video further to remotely measure the temperature sending it to another microbit using the radio functionality.
