In this video we'll setup a virtual server (VM) and configure the storage, which is the foundational layer for the cluster we're building. We'll split the storage steps into two videos to keep things simple.
We'll use VirtualBox to create an Ubuntu server VM with one virtual disk for the OS and another for cluster storage. We'll go through the Ubuntu installation in detail. Then we'll prepare the storage and get it ready for GlusterFS. We'll finish the GlusterFS configuration in the next video.
