Mikerune - Unsolved Case

Mikerune chapter 1, probably the "Empty town" replacement. *The two walk into the detective's room* B: No, no, that doesn't make sense. B: C'mon, think, think...THINK!! *Battat turns around, seeing Pluey and Jackler (bc theres no way im calling a main character jongler) and gets startled. B:AH- H-hey, who are you people? Get out of my- B: Wait a minute...lightners? J: ...wh- B: L-listen, I know this is sudden but you've gotta help me. I've been trying to crack this case for years, with no luck! I'm being tormented, please- J: So is dis' some kinda illegal business i've gotta handle now? B: ...wh-what? No, surely you understand. The missing lightner child, Lancer. You know about that right? I know who did it. It's not hopeless, we can find him! B: The criminal been in my house recently. He's teasing me, a-as if i'm next! I need a lightner's help- J: What's the pay? B: ... B: ...there's no way you just said that. J: Look, if you wanna present the evidence to the department, then do it. But it's got nothin' to do with me. I have more important matters on my hands... *Jackler glances at Pluey with a scowl* B: You don't...you...haha! You don't know ANYTHING that's going on here, do you? Haha!
