MILOS Ultimate Hinge
Understanding the Ultimate Hinge by Milos Welcome, everyone! Today, I'm excited to introduce the Ultimate Hinge from Milos. This innovative product combines the functionality of two popular items: the classic Book Corner QBB1 and the Hinge QBH P1. Types of Movement: Unlike traditional hinges, which allow rotation in only one axial direction, the Ultimate Hinge offers versatile movement. The Book Corner rotates around the vertical axis, while the flexible hanging point allows rotation around the horizontal axis. Design Flexibility: While configurations like horizontal polygonal trusses can be built with book corners, maintaining consistent suspension points' heights can be challenging. This often leads to book corner damage. The Ultimate Hinge solves this problem by allowing independent movement of each chain without risking component damage. Axis Rotation: The hinge's design enables both vertical and horizontal axis movement. This flexibility ensures proper truss orientation, preventing twisting and ensuring self-balancing, especially when bottom chords bear identical loads. Load Capacity: The Ultimate Hinge boasts a loading capacity of 500 kilograms, complying with safety standards like DGUV17 for hanging loads above people. Without considering DGUV17, the capacity can reach up to 1000 kilograms, with a dynamic factor of 1.2 to accommodate electric chain hoist lifting at full load. Compatibility: To ensure compatibility, various conical connectors can be used with the Ultimate Hinge, offering versatility and ease of use. Thank you for joining us today! Stay tuned for more insights into rigging and truss systems.
