A variation of the Milwaukee Cut vertical ventilation tactic being performed by Truck 8 Colorado Springs. This is a tactic used and perfected by the Milwaukee FD designed for steep pitched roof operations. It allows for very efficient size holes to be cut on the steepest of roof pitches with the work load being equally shared. A few of the modifications in this video show us using two guys whereas the traditional version uses three. We also are using a vent saw (chainsaw) v.s. the traditional version using a rotary saw.
