Mindustry Impact Reactor design explained
Here I explain my impact reactor design from the steam workshop in detail. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2193727176 The other schematics in the same collection are worth a look too; tile-able reactors and the smallest possible impact reactor: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2769466495 This is a self-sufficient and restart-able 6-pack of reactors which only requires Titanium, Coal, Lead and Sand input, as well as some initial startup power. Reactor failure can be rectified using backup storages, and there are protections in place which should prevent reactor failure if properly implemented. Don't be stingy with the input, input as much as you can to make sure the reactors are full supplied, and baby sit the reactor after changing the overdrive status to ensure you won't run out (eg adding overdrive or adding phase fabric). You may need more than one full input of sand or lead if using overdrive (may be with phase fabric only, not sure) 1:20 - power isolators explained 8:55 - initial reactor start 11:40 - add separate power grid to run reactor supply lines 15:45 - fix power fluctuations due to overdrive 18:50 - using backup titanium supply if you run out 20:08 - restart after failure
