Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 No Commentary(Relax/Study) Part 1

This is the start of my Beta 1.7.3 Minecraft world! This version of the game has a very unique vibe to it that I really enjoy, and I wanted to record gameplay so I can look back and see how far I've progressed. The uploads for this world will be on and off depending on how often I play, and they'll always be straight gameplay with no commentary or music(outside of the in game soundtrack), so watch if you want but don't expect anything but that! I'll try to explain my general gameplan in the description so you can tell what I'm thinking if you are interested. In this video, I start up a new world with a random seed and explore a bit until I find an island I think would be fun to build on. My main goal this time was to get a somewhat nice starting house so I can sleep at night and to start a small farm so I have consistent access to food(getting 12 seeds took way longer than I expected lol). I had to make a very ugly house so I could sleep without monsters attacking me, and I thought that little underground spot with a "window" looked kind of cool. Unsure what I will put down there(maybe my mine entrance?) but I know I want to leave that window to see out of no matter what. Eventually I was able to get a nice little home using birch logs, a block I don't ever use in modern Minecraft! That's all I did this time, and next time I'll go mining for a bit to get some stone, iron, and coal.
