In this Minecraft video we look at what the heck a Minecraft monostable actually is, what it does and what it is for. You have probably heard people like @ThatMumboJumbo casually mentioning monostables and this video is a brief explanation of what they actually are. This is a simple redstone circuit that allows you to turn a redstone signal into a pulse. I use moving a block as an example, however it has other uses. For this simple build you will need: 3 blocks of your choice 1 sticky piston 1 redstone 1 redstone repeater An input of some kind (I use a lever) An output (I use a sticky piston with a block on it) My aim with my videos is to make redstone accessible to everyone. These redstone videos show you how you can make basic redstone inventions with simple redstone techniques. So we're not making an entire village move, but we do go through the basics. This video was made in Minecraft 1.17.1, however the rest of the series is in Minecraft 1.18. This circuit does work in Minecraft 1.18 but I wanted to use the resource pack from vanilla tweaks to show it more easily.
