A lot of Minecraft builds that try to recreate Roman temples just don’t quite capture the real thing. The proportions feel off, the details seem a bit flat, and that sense of grandeur you’d expect from ancient Roman architecture is often missing. In this video, we’re going to break down what actually makes a Roman temple feel authentic. Using the famous Maison Carrée, a classic hexastyle temple, as our reference, we’ll look at everything from how many columns it should have, to the height of the entablature, and even those subtle geometric tricks the Romans used to balance form and symmetry. By the end, you’ll not only know how to build a temple that looks right in Minecraft, but also understand the architectural logic that made these ancient structures so timeless. Make sure to like and share with friends! Subscribe for Part 2 — where we’ll take a look at Roman Temple interiors and finish off this build!
