Mini Star Books

My first star book in a mini form. I had so much fun making these. Here are some quick instructions. You will need three layers for each page of your book. You can make a five point, six point or seven point star. I did a six point. Each layer should be slightly smaller than the previous. Mine were: inside layer is 2 inches tall by 4 inches wide, the middle layer is 2 inches tall by 3.75 inches wide, and the outside layer is 2 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide (this is the layer you will decorate). The covers are 2 inches by 2 inches. Decorate all your pages before assembling your book. Then glue only the front edge of your layers together. Next glue the pages together. Glue a small piece of ribbon of the front and back. Then glue the covers on to hide the ribbon. I used all scraps to make my books. I hope this information is helpful to you.
