Here we will try to understand Minimization by using Variable Entrant Map 2. Replace all the variables as 0's, leave minterms, 0's, and don't cares as it is and obtain the SOP. Select one variable and make all occurrences of that variable as 1 write minterms as don't cares, leave 0's, and don't care as it is. Obtain SOP. Multiply the obtained SOP expression with the selected variable. Repeat the above step for all the variables in the k map. SOP of the VEM is obtained by OR-ing the obtained SOP expression. We will solve more examples on the Variable entrant map.
