Mixtape does NOT deserve the hate it’s getting.
People keep calling it “not a real game” because it’s narrative-heavy. In this video I talk about people regurgitating YouTuber opinions, hating Mixtape just because IGN liked it, and the tribalism around “woke” games.
The dialogue is cringe, but the visuals and music are actually really good and people are forcing random reasons to hate on it instead of just saying “the writing sucks.”
Just criticize the actual bad parts instead of doing mental gymnastics because some reviewer gave it a 10/10.
I’m not saying the game is some masterpiece or that you have to like it, I just think people are reaching for random reasons to hate on it instead of talking about the actual problems.
