In this video, I walk through the analytic technique of moderation using a real-world social media example. We explore how the relationship between the number of followers and positive post engagement changes depending on the type of social media account.I demonstrate how to: (1) Fit and interpret a moderation model using base R, (2) test interaction effects step-by-step (3) visualize and interpret the moderation pattern, (4) and replicate the analysis using the PROCESS macro (Hayes) implemented in R.
