Modified Distribution Method (MODI) or UV method is Optimality test for solving transportation problem.
1) This method is comparatively easy than stepping stone method as this gives the solution in less amount of time
2) if any one have to select any one of the two methods in optimality test always go for UV method as both method give same give same optimal solution.
