Modo is Dead

The long running 3D application Modo is no more, or at least shortly it won't be. The Foundry have announced they are ceasing development of the application with the release of Modo 17.1, at which point it will no longer receive updates, fixes or patches in the future. Modo has been around since 2001 when several Lightwave developers broke off and started a new company called Luxology.
