Module 2: Pre-Trip Inspection
Description: This training covers the complete pre-trip inspection process required by FMCSA and DOT regulations before operating a commercial motor vehicle. Topics include walk-around procedures, engine compartment checks, brake and air system inspection, tire and wheel condition, coupling device verification, lighting and reflector checks, fluid levels, and proper documentation. Every driver is required to perform a thorough pre-trip inspection before dispatching with any load. Required viewing for all Peak Logistics drivers.
