Module Program Complete for Santos GLNG project

Construction at the Santos GLNG plant on Curtis Island has reached another key milestone, with the delivery of the final two modules for the LNG processing units. These massive structures , while not the heaviest, – known as modules – have a combined weight of more than 2,890 tonnes and are the last of 111 modules required to finish building the two LNG processing two units – known as trains – that will convert natural gas into liquid. Bechtel is constructing Santos GLNG’s two-train LNG plant on Curtis Island, off the coast of Gladstone.
