Monk in Hell Forest

This music was inspired by Thai folk stories of monks who battle malevolent forces in desolate places. True magical showdowns! This arrangements was made using the melody from (六段) a gorgeous and infinite tune. Traditional melodies fed into a digital retro-synth, oh my! Music Prod & Arr. by Mars Crow Crow Flappings: Music doesn’t keep out the rain but somehow it makes life worth living. Music, with all its theories and tricks, is nothing more than a sophisticated children’s game. But! It’s a children's game whose rules run parallel to the creative laws of this universe (and who, after all, gets to play that big game?) And so it seems to follow that by playing along with said rules one is de facto participating in the total game even if one plays in the most apparently limited sphere. How could the small be any less a part of the great than the great with the small? They’re arguably integral! Let’s see if we can’t trigger some beauty to manifest in a world that looks too much like a gladiator squid game sometimes… Mars Crow makes music to massage his own pineal cone. In his wild delusions and abstract ecstasies he actually suspects that plants, trees, insects, birds and minds at various magnitudes throughout the cosmos also kind of vibe along from time to time. Mood is not about petty emotional states. Moods are mystical and serious matters. Moods are bridges and portals to the mysteries. These thoughts only add to the ‘crow’s’ obscure conviction that music is somehow a serious thing. Sweet creative alpha waves, silent and supernatural Theta waves, deep oceans of droning delta sleep waves and the glorious synthesis in gamma states should be explored artistically and experientially so in that spirit the crow spreads his wings and departs like the tarot’s happy fool!
