Artist Flora Doehler demonstrates the making of a monoprint by painting watercolour on plexiglass. The video concludes with examples of monoprints made this way. No printing press is neccessary using this method. See more at http://floradoehler.ca Materials needed: - one sheet of plexiglass (up to 6" x 8") with light sanding and filed, rounded corners - watercolour tubes or gouache paints - heavy watercolour or printmaking paper, preferably 100% cotton fibres - a paint brush - container or sink to soak the paper - newsprint to blot the printing paper - one soup spoon
