The ViscTech, originally manufactured by TechPro of Akron Ohio, became one of the fastest selling Mooney Viscometers in the rubber industry through the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Since then, the company has closed its doors, leaving many customers in the position of limited parts availability, lack of service support and no way to guarantee the continuity of their software. This poses major problems for high capacity manufacturers such as injection molders, mixers, and many others who have purchased the rubber MV.
