Moondial is a British six-part children's television serial first broadcast in 1988. Created by writer Helen Cresswell, who also authored the 1987 novel of the same name, the series follows Minty (Siri Neal), a teenage girl staying with her aunt after her mother is injured in a car accident. Minty discovers a magical moondial in the grounds of Belton House in Lincolnshire—filmed on location—which allows her to travel back in time.
