More than mountains.

This documentary is about Hangnikoot — a small village in Kupwara, Kashmir, surrounded by mountains, forests, and simple village life. Located in the Handwara side of Kupwara district, the village sits at an elevation of around 2000m and has a population of nearly 1,200 people. Most people here are connected to farming and rural life. In this film, I tried to capture the real side of the village — the people, schools, fields, roads, stories, happiness of children, and the peaceful environment which many people never get to see. No luxury, no filters… just raw reality and beauty of our villages.
