On a topic very popular currently, converting a glow/methanol engine to spark ignition/petrol fuel. This engine is the magnificent O.S. Gemini 300 - a 50 cc horizontal twin with a long pedigree. For the conversion I used a complete kit - ignition and carburetor - from Morris Mini Motors in the UK.
As this engine is now no longer in production, I (and several others) am hoping the O.S. CEO reconsiders deleting the engine from their production line and re-introduces it as a petrol variant - certainly would be a desirable engine.
