Here's the start of a new project, getting an type II trunked controller up and running. This is just an overview of where I've got with it so far, soon I'll make an update video once I get proper DB-15 connectors and build a radio interface board. The other part of this project will be attempting to decode the data stored in the U48 EPROM so I can change the channel assignments and such, just trying to get the controller interfaced to radios first though. On a side note, seems like my iPhone really filtered out the sound of the control channel, so its really quiet when I showed it.
