73 hours on a Rainier classic. June 15-18, 2009. Climbed with Rick Inman and Paul Bjork. Lean conditions for this time of year led to copious rockfall on the way to Thumb Rock. There was also quite a bit of glare ice up high. Thankfully, we had ideal weather for this excellent mountaineering test piece.
