This is a 16-oz boil test using the MSR Reactor, Kovea LPG adapter and 1lb propane cylinder. I wanted the easiest, fastest, most fuel efficient way to get hot water and melt snow while backpacking in the winter. I believe this is the best setup I've tested so far.
Whether or not I will use propane will depend on what my total pack weight ends up being. If pulling a pulk, weight is less of an issue so I will definitely use propane for the low cost and efficiency in the cold.
