A couple days after Thanksgiving we decided to go splitboarding in the Mt Baker Backcountry. It hadn't snowed in a day so the ski area would not have had the best snow. We set out to snowboard powder and we definitely found it. The PNW has had a great start to the season but only Crystal Mountain and Mt Baker are open in Washington (at this time).
Mt Herman is a medium long trip but not the longest or hardest tour. At the end of the day we had three runs under out belt.
