Both Mu and Gengetsu had a long standing rivalry since the time of their kage tenure which came to a head when they both died to a mutual strike, in a battle to the death. Given this context though, it’s easy to see why this matchup is so interesting since it’s less of a typical versus battle but more so an analysis of their different arsenals and how they would interact with each other to see how their actual final fight went down.
