Hipsters rejoice! This was a benefit held at the Experience Music Project in Seattle. As if they had never heard of Altamont, EMP employed what appear to be a biker gang to patrol the premises. If there is still a rift between the 'scene' and EMP I am not aware because I don't live there. But the fact that under-21 MCD fans had to watch the alcohol-free show on closed circuit TV from another room, not to mention the unnecessary show of force, left me wondering if EMP wasn't just some corporate entity whoring in on underground music, too little too late. Great lights. Bad vibe. 1 trashed mic.
