Murray Bridge Lower Timber Wharf Construction

The new Lower Timber Wharf is now open! With a viewing platform, shaded seating and an innovative Wet Deck, our new Lower Timber Wharf is designed for all kinds of river experiences - from houseboats to kayaks - and will continue to be a favourite spot for fishing, relaxing and connecting with the Murray. The Lower Timber Wharf forms part of the city’s Heritage and Tourism Precinct at Sturt Reserve - a $6 million revitalisation project supported by $3 million in Australian Government funding, comprising $1.5 million from the Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants Program.
