Music Showcase 2

Another tape in my collection. Has some stuff that's dated fairly close to Spaceworld 1995. Information about the tracks on this tape: Track 1 is a slightly earlier version of the main theme. It's extremely similar to the version heard in the public demo, but has some slight differences. Track 2 is an earlier version of the Wing Cap theme, dated around 1994. Don't know too much about this one, but it was Kondo's earlier attempt at arranging the Yoshi's Island starman theme. Track 3 is actually dated a few weeks before Spaceworld, it's a variant of the Metal Mario theme made after the Starman powerup was canned. Track 4 is a much earlier variant of the boss theme. This was done as a rearrangement of Kondo's boss theme by me, but it wasn't liked by management so it was scrapped. From what I know, this was one of the few tracks that was worked on by someone other than Koji Kondo. Track 5 is just a version of the jingle that plays when a Star appears. Hopefully these tapes will give you guys something to enjoy while me and Eric look for more stuff to upload. - Meg
