Muskrat up close. We spotted this little fellow running across the frozen field to cross the road, so stopped to torment him a bit trying to get some video footage on a sunny windy Sunday afternoon.
Alberta is the only spot in the world (apart from Antarctica) that doesn't have rats, so seeing these critters is the only time we see even the distant cousin of the common hated pest everyone else never wants to see.
