Featuring young Australians up to the age of 20 and designed for the 12 to 15 age group, MY24 reflects the diversity of modern Australia. While some stories are small and upbeat and others are bold and dramatic, each story has an emotional impact. Each episode unearths the truly life-changing events that have led our participants to reassess their lives, their desires and their focus -- supplemented by archive and interviews with friends, family and other important figures in their story. Each episode will focus on one person's story and is a snapshot of that young person's life now -- their current path and plans for the future; where they live and what they do. As we delve into their life-changing event the story reveals how the character viewed themselves before -- who were they? What was their life like? Where were they headed? We present the life-changing event. What happened, how did it happen and what actions did our participant take? The event becomes a vehicle through which we can explore the lives of our young people -- their expectations and their reality, their hopes and dreams.
