I used on sheet of 4'x8' 1/2" sanded plywood, piano hinge, hasp and small bungee cord to attach random items to the lid and to keep the large items that are hanging on the doors from bouncing around too much. After assembled, I took the doors and side wings off, stained it and applied one coat of varathane to the sides and three coats to the top working surfaces.
Almost all the accessories were bought at Dollarama or Canadian Tire, except for the MSR pot set, MSR Whisper Lite Stove and fuel bottles and the portable camp grill, which were bought at Mountain Equipment Coop.
