My Guitar was originally written in 2022 and revived in 2025 at which point, I finally got to the lyrics. I wanted a straight-forward song about a life-long love affair that I have had...with guitars! From the time I bought my first one, a beat-up classical guitar of which I could only play up to 4 or 5 frets, after that, you could slip your fingers under the strings as it was really bowed! Today, with the advent of studio recording and (much better built guitars) I have found that the beauty of the sound still gives me a lot of joy.
