MY OLD FLIPNOTES

here's all my flipnotes from 2012-2014 ! TRIGGER WARNING FOR 3:24-3:26 skip over if you're sensitive to self harm! while i started out animating on adobe flash in mid 2012, i began animating on flipnote as well in late 2012! if you ever somehow saw my flipnotes back when hatena was a thing, i went by "sarah" because that's my sister's name and i was using her DSi i primarily animated a bunch of edgy ponies and my best-friend-at-the-time's ocs because i didnt have any non-pony ocs lmao. shoutout to karianna and erin for dealing with me in middle/high school.. yall were my only friends in public school and i felt bad for leaving u to do online/home school, but a cats gotta do what a cats gotta do for mental health. i was in a sucky place then and as a side note to them, im sorry if i treated u sucky as well. i was a weird person back then but i wouldnt be who i am today without u guys,, i think about yall a lot ;; ❤️ anywaybs also shoutout to PENNY: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVJA3OPJ9XH-uT--ROPg-hA who showed me how to get my flipnotes off my dsi and export them with this website: https://flipnote.rakujira.jp/ feel free to ask about the songs or whatever. hopefully the premiere live chat stays this time cuz its disabled and greyed out on flopdoodles: the movie for some reason and i am so mad about it. but yeah the video is too long to describe each flip in the description sadly, but each and every one of them holds a special place in my heart. theres a few i collabed on with karianna and the last couple of flips are hers that i had saved for nostalgia. also if you see an unrecognizable style/character it's probably because it's someone else's art. if you don't know how flipnote worked i dont blame you but basically you had to delete the other persons art if you wanted to animate to the same song, and i just deleted their art as i went along- but for my unfinished works their art remains so.... yeah im also uploading other flipnotes that i had saved to my dsi for personal use/archival reasons later on my other account if anyone's interested in seeing random old hatena/sudomemo flipnotes: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChTk6rU4-VilKdW2TyZaxVQ
