As I was working on this very wide (for me) warp, I discovered that the shuttle which I normally use wasn't working as well as I wanted it to. That got me to thinking about shuttles.
what is a shuttle? According to dictionary.com it is a noun:
"a device in a loom for passing or shooting the weft thread through the shed from one side of the web to the other, usually consisting of a boat-shaped piece of wood containing a bobbin on which the weft thread is wound."
