I wrote this one about my children and how they changed and blessed my life, shaping the person I became.
I am a sexual abuse survivor and was always terrified of having children, falsely believing that I would commit the same offenses just because they happened to me. It took me years to learn that not all sexually abused children become abusers as adults. I broke the mold, and am very close to my kids who mean more to me than life itself.
