N55 Build Pt.2 *Rotating Assembly*

The N55 build continues… In this video, I move into Part 2 of my BMW E93 335i build series by assembling the rotating assembly and preparing the forged internals for boost. For this step I: * Measured and filed piston ring gaps * Installed piston rings onto the Manley pistons * Checked rod bearing clearances using plastigauge * Installed the pistons and connecting rods into the block * Assembled the rotating assembly and verified everything moved smoothly This is one of the most important stages of the build, because proper ring gap and bearing clearances can make or break a high horsepower motor. This series will document everything step-by-step — from the engine build, to the transmission swap, to installing a big turbo setup. The goal? To turn this N55-powered E93 into a 700+ WHP street car that’s still clean, reliable, and fully functional.
