Naruto Character Popularity Evolution (2002–2017)

This dataset is a fan-made reconstruction of Naruto character popularity from October 2002 to February 2017. The rankings were estimated using multiple real-world fandom indicators, including: • Official Naruto popularity polls • MyAnimeList & AniList favorites • Google Trends search interest • Reddit/forum discussions • YouTube & social media engagement • Arc relevance & screentime • Major fights, reveals, transformations and deaths The goal was to realistically simulate how fan interest evolved month-by-month throughout the Naruto series. Popularity values are NOT official measurements, but a fictionalized “fandom interest index” designed for bar chart race visualization and entertainment purposes. Characters rise and fall dynamically based on their relevance during specific arcs and iconic moments in the story.
