THIS ONE TOOK SOOOO LONG AND I'M SO SORRY!!!!
Okay, so I was actually asked to arrange this song by Gabriel masse. I hadn't actually watched Naruto before, so for me it was a little tough to really capture his personality in the song. Even when I did manage to get some idea, it was hard to adapt this to an orchestral level, especially when I admire the original instrumentation so much.
Sadly, my VSTs for the shakuhachi are really really bad, so I decided to use a piccolo instead. And I decided to use a viola for the shamisen solo because, to me, it sounds better with the VSTs I've been given.
This was the first song I arranged using Mixcraft 7 rather than Mixcraft 6, and though I realize the balance is a bit off in some places, all in all I feel pretty proud of this. ^_^
