Natesha Kauthuvam is a fast-paced, traditional Bharatanatyam dance item in praise of Lord Shiva as Nataraja, the cosmic dancer. As part of the Margam (repertoire), this invocation combines rhythmic chollukattus (syllables) with lyrical descriptions of Shiva's iconic features—trident, damaru drum, tiger skin, and his Tandava dance.
This dance was performed by Malathy, Hema Latha, Pradhiksha and Devika for Vinayagar Chadurthi program which was held in Avadi. This dance was taught by Guru. C. V. Santhosh Kumar.
