National Nurses Week in Canada is May 11th to 16th, and this week, we proudly recognize our nurses right here in Listuguj.
We want to acknowledge the dedicated nursing staff with the Listuguj Community Health Services Directorate, at the Health Center, the Waqatasg Elders Home and Alaqsite’w Gitpu School.
Every day these nurses go above and beyond and provide our community members with the most utmost care. From babies and expectant mothers to our cherished Elders. Not only do they offer medical care, but they also offer kindness, compassion and support when we need it the most.
The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government extends its heartfelt gratitude to our nurses, for keeping Listuguj healthy and strong!
