In this series of video's we're looking a the Native Instruments Vintage Compressors. The VC160 is based on the DBX160 with a few modern features such as sidechain, wet/dry and hi pass filter.
The VC160 is a great vintage sounding compressor that we particularly like on percussive sources due to its slow attack and unique colour that it applies to the source material. In this video we demonstrate the VC160 and also the Transient Master on Native Instruments Studio Drummer to show you a very powerful drum processing chain.
