Nayora - As The Game
Light skips over water skin Drawing shapes that won’t stay in Circles form, then fall apart As if the end was at the start A breeze leans in, then slips away Stirring leaves it cannot stay Nothing held and nothing planned Yet everything moves hand in hand It plays in ways we cannot see Between what was and what will be No rules to break, no lines to frame Yet every move completes the game Footsteps echo, fade, return In patterns no one needs to learn A laugh appears, then disappears Like something dancing through the years The river twists, then opens wide No need to choose a single side It folds, unfolds, then moves along As if it’s writing its own song It plays in ways we cannot see Between what was and what will be No rules to break, no lines to frame Yet every move completes the game Waves arrive before they’re gone No separate right, no separate wrong Each rise already falling through Into something just as new The sky lets go of every hue Then paints itself again in blue No loss is kept, no gain is stored Just endless play, forever more It plays in ways we cannot see No start, no end, no boundary No need to win, no need to name Just this unfolding… as the game
