Negative Space (FAREWELL)
“How to speak with this stone in my throat?” An atmospheric adaptation of my poem "Farewell." A study on the weight of absence and the frost that settles when a heart's axis shifts forever. Listen for the silence between the notes. Poem: “Farewell” Suddenly, this crack— a thin, white slit in the heart's core. It blooms in the chest's darkness from today onward: an emptiness with your name, a silent, final fact. The world locks in frost. This terrible negative space rings, a deafening chime for past joy. No return. The door is not just shut, but sealed. Today is a room without air. I am suffocating on it, breathless. The future, a sentence I cannot, I have no strength to parse. The world's axis has been permanently tilted. How to speak with this stone in my throat? How to breathe? around the shape of your absence— a new, solid object in the world.
