Nelco Sewing Machine Final Test and Tutorial

This sweet Nelco has just come off our restoration bench so she's looking and sewing great. She's missing her identification plate and I haven't been able to pin down exactly which model she is. She's very similar to a Nelco Lyra R-1000, and may even be an earlier iteration of that model. The main difference I see between the two is in the mechanism that changes the needle home position. At any rate, this video will show you how to wind the bobbin, thread the machine, and how to use all the various controls, for several models of Nelco machines from this era.
