Never Gonna Leave This Bed - Cloud/Tifa

You weren't expecting this. ;) But yeah, I am one of those god damn CloTis. :D With the similarities to my OTP, though, you really shouldn't be surprised. B) RANT TIEM! So, for whatever reason, I randomly decided that I wanted to play FFVII again after like a bazillion years and let me go ahead and say that it's an entirely different game at 20 than it was at 8. First time I played, I was pretty much completely oblivious to Tifa's existence. I seriously had no idea that she was even a love interest. (I also didn't read the text boxes. Durr hurr.) I...guess I shipped Clerith, though, really, with 8-year-old me thinking that Cloud/Aerith was the only possible couple (never got around to getting Yuffie, and like I said, I somehow managed to completely miss Tifa) there really wasn't much room for interpretation. Regardless, though, I never made it past the gas chamber when I was kid. (Probably another reason I didn't pick up on the Cloti.) Returning to the fact that baby-SF just played the game for the Chocobos and didn't bother paying any attention to the story (or the text boxes), I pretty much spazzed out when I got to the part with the gas chamber as I thought Tifa was about to get electric chair'd. (Bad movie experience. Not getting into it.) Turned the game off before Scarlet even finished talking and deleted the file immediately. When I went to play the game again a few years later, the disk was scratched. Good thing I didn't think of an EMULATOR till I was TWENTY. SIGH. So yeah, went through, played it again ACTUALLY PAYING ATTENTION THIS TIME and just about melted from the adorableness that is CloTi. HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS ORIGINALLY? sodahfoisdhf Oh, right. Text boxes. Video Itself: -No, I don't actually expect anyone to watch this. :3 I just sort of made it for shits and giggles. That and the fact that I REALLY needed a break from all the requests. I haven't done anything purely because I wanted to in ages... TT_TT But I'm all good now, so I'll get back to the stuff I'm supposed to be working on. *Salute* -WHY YES, I DO LIKE THE GAUSSIAN BLUR. THANK YOU FOR NOTICING. 8D -I normally have some kind of symmetry in my videos. For whatever reason, this one lacks it in almost every way. The only place it shows up is the intentional Tifa-Tifa-Cloud chorus thing. -The ending of the video uses a certain picture as an overlay. Though it's probably pretty obvious, points to whoever guesses what the picture was before I tore it in half to force it into motion. Oh, and in reference to the FX ON the picture... --I'm aware that the pulsations on the stars aren't even, so you don't have to tell me that when you're picking my video apart. I suppose I could pass it off as realism if I were an egotistical jackass, but let's be honest here: SF's just super lazy. Also, I originally threw the light rays in just to see what they would look like. Needless to say, after seeing the similarities to the Aurora Borealis and derp-fully playing with it for like ten minutes, I couldn't force myself to take it out, even with the visual obstruction. Sorry! Oh, and speaking of visual obstructions, the chaos around the two minute mark is intentional. You're not supposed to be able to see WTF is going on. :) -There were some parts of this video that I could not get to work to save my life. I spent AGES on the flowerbed scene and I'm still not particularly happy with it. Also, the flashes between Denzel, Zack, Tifa, and Cloud were being asswipes and not cooperating. (SCREW YOU, EPIC SCENE!) -I have NEVER used text in any of my videos before so please excuse my blatant ignorance with the methodology. I'll link to a text-less version later. BAM! Right, so, please note that I will not tolerate bashing of any kind. This goes for both sides. I've read the various articles and stuff in the ultimanias and I KNOW which pairing is canon, but just because yours is does not mean that you have the right to bash the other side for having a preference. NOTHING makes you look more like a egotistical asshat than belittling others to reinforce something you already know. Likewise, other side, do not assert that SE is being delusional with the compilation. It's their game. I'm pretty sure they know what they're talking about. Please understand that I see nothing wrong with someone saying that he/she likes one pairing more than another. That's an opinion and you are completely entitled to it. As long as you do not bash/demonize one pairing or character for the sake of the other, you are completely free to speak your mind and no one has any right to criticize you--as long as you don't assert your opinion as truth, in which case you're just asking for it.
