It uses some code from the legit mod UiUtils to look trustworthy, but UiUtils is safe — DupeToolkit is not. `What it does:` When run on Windows, it installs: A RAT (Remote Access Trojan) – lets hackers control your PC. An InfoStealer – steals passwords, cookies, and accounts. `Who’s affected:` Didn’t run it → You’re safe. Ran it on Mac/Linux → Safe. Ran it on Windows → You’re infected. `How to remove it:` 1. If you press CTRL + Shift + ESC you will open the Task Manager. 2. In the Task Manager search for anything called "Windows PowerShell" or "CMD." Click on these and then click "End Task." You can close the Task Manager when they are all gone. 3. Press WIN (the key between CTRL and ALT on your keyboard) + R at the same time. A "Run" box will come up. 4. In the field marked "Open" paste this: C:\ProgramData 5. There will be one or multiple .exe files in this folder, named something random like "128ajds372.exe" Their icons will look like a command console ("C:/" on a black screen). Delete these exe files. 6. Download Microsoft's "Autoruns" program. This is a program to see what is starting up with your computer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-en/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns 7. When downloaded, right click on "autoruns64.exe" and select "Run as Administrator." 8. Under the "Scheduled Tasks" tab, you might see those exe files you deleted earlier (they may be marked in red or yellow). Delete these by clicking on them and pressing DEL or right clicking them and selected "Delete."
